I've recently purchased both games, and love them both.

I just want to let JMM know how great his game is.

I also want to say what an improvement visually Napoleon is over Les Grognards.

I also have a mod question, not sure if it's been addressed or not.

When creating a new map, is there anyway to manually change the starting positions. I know you can slide the army flag, but i can't seem to move it more into the map.

Thanks and I'm proud to have been drafted in JMM's army !

Hello Bob1966,  welcome to the forum !!!

The reply is no .  The flags only navigate along the map edge (for now).
Personally I would like to see a depot style LOC  say in the larger campaign maps 30 km and such
as far as I can make out there is no possibility for that to happen.
I hope JMM can clear that area up for you a little better.

The answer's Zu is perfect.... The flags (lines of communication) are only on the map edge.
Maybe in a future, we'll introduce some new markers for point out some special sectors. (I don't think we shall be use these markers in the historical battles)
Another features planned are:
- initial positions of troops without a real zone defined by the map editor (solo mode only)
- possible to define restricted areas.
