PLEASE NOTE : EW will NOT start until we have v3x which will be the LAST version of HW1, before HW2 arrives later.
1st Jan 1813 has the French Army in barracks throughout France after Napoleon decided NOT to invade Russia in 1812. The French Army of 400,000 men is joined by a further 600,000 men from it’s allies and are awaiting Napoleon’s orders.
France, Netherlands, Italy, The German States, Poland and Prussia dominate central Europe and have made a mutual protection alliance while the Portuguese, Spanish, Russians and Austrians have all allied themselves with GB, and threaten France and her Allies from all sides.
Spain and Portugal have re-built their Armies (100,000 men each) after the Spanish War ended a year ago. The British Army with 100,000 men returned to GB after the Spanish war ended. They are ready to set sail to wherever they are needed. Russia and Austria have built up Armies of 400,000 and 250,000 and dominate Eastern Europe.
The Polish and Prussian Armies of 100,000 and 200,000 will be outnumbered in the East until help can arrive from the German states (100,000), Netherlands (100,000) and France. Italy with a 100,000 man Army should combine with the Germans in the Southern area of Europe against any Austrian threat to invade Italy. France has the ability to fight on several fronts, but which will see the main French Army in action ?.
GB and all the Allied Nations are fully prepared to support each other no matter who is attacked first, the same goes for France and her Allies should GB and her Allies be the first to cross a border in offensive action. Will GB have to return back into action in Spain ?. Or could it sail through the Baltic and support a Northern attack from Russia along the coast. It could even sail to the Austrian held port of TRIESTE (if Italy don’t capture it) and help the Austrians invade Italy from the East along the Northern coast of Italy.
2,000,000 men (1,000,000 on each side) wait for Napoleon to move, or will someone else make the first move ?, and where will that be ?.
ps/we have places left on both sides and need a few more "interested" people to step forward.
