France start with approx HALF their troops as far forward in their deployment zone as possible, near a low lying ridge, which has been prepared with defenses, they are withdrawing in order to take up their positions on the ridge. France try to hold objectives, if possible, but the main priority is to hold the LOPs and avoid losing prisoners.
Russia have to cross the ridge taking as many of the 5 objectives (French side of ridge) and the French LOPs if possible.

Guard and Elite formations will be present for France only
