France have to cross very bad ground consisting of streams, marsh and lakes, which is where the Russian Army has decided to make a stand to slow the French advance into Russia down. France have to take as many of the 5 objective VPs (Russian side of defense line) and the Russian LOPs if possible.
Russia start with approx HALF their troops at the forward edge of their deployment zone, they may move anywhere after the battle starts. Russia try to hold objectives, if possible, but the main priority is to hold the LOPs and avoid losing prisoners.

Guard and Elite formations will NOT be present.
