zoom:the largest map

On the 30*22 km map I cannot zoom in as much as on the smaller maps.Is there a tip to do it or is it a bug?

Because the scale is greater in map size, the units become smaller and take longer to cover the same map distance.

Zoom... I'll take a look but I think the zoom is the same for the different sizes...

No, I think gazfun is right, IIRC the zoom is indeed different according to map size...

I have raised this in another thread. The 2d map really requires the ability to zoom in and out. The units are so close together on the 2d map that it can be very difficult to select even specific corps to give orders too.

Oh,yes,I was talking about 3d zoom but,indeed, on 2d map is reallly difficult to select an individual unit .
