Xfire- Histwar Les Grognards

Just to help you guys. Xfire seems to becoming the preffered meeting and voice/IM comms system.
Any Clan/Club can create their own lobby an sub lobbies.  I have included 2 screens, one shows the lobbies I currently use.
The other is a step by step of how to find, create and save Lobbies for ease of use.

I've joined both groups now.

Had my first MP last night with fellow NBC crowd (Gunner, AJ and ges).

Had a great game. The lads were very patient and supportive.

Xfire helped a lot and if you can tolerate listening to AJ talking to himself  then I would recommend trying a game out with the lads.

Grog, I just can't help it. I swear and curse when my lads run away, cheer em on when they stand fast. Yesterday I was verbally fending off the wife who had a 10" Henkel chef's knife in her hand whilst i'm in X fire. Gunner 24 and DougieJ are so bloody funny anyway, that I find myself laughing at them for half the battle. The absolutely worst, was my 10 minute fit of Laughing, when G24 discovered I had attacked him with a 3,000 strong regiment of Horse Guards and he declared " What the *******

xFire looks like the place to be for multiplayer. I must admit i am not that interested in joining a clan or a ladder competition. I just want to be able to find other like minded gamers and play games. AJ amongst others is doing a fantastic effort on getting things coordinated. I would recommend that we all get on board with this to get the largest mass of MP interested Les Grog players out there. The more the merrier in my books.

I'm sure many others feel the same way, which is of course is no problem whatsoever, except for : please bear in mind a "clan/club" that is arranging MP games will normally give priorty to it's own members over other people who are not interested in such things.  

NBC will always try to help others, and make room in games for them, but sometimes this is not possible, so my advice is join one, it's free, your will get a lot more games, it makes for more enjoyment and mainly, there is no dis-advantage.

He sure is, and NBC are very pleased to have him working so hard for us, and the general Community - why not join in with NBC and give us a try....if you don't like it - you can leave at anytime.

Cavalier, I would add one thing more. At NBC for example, we have members who don't fight in Interclan or any League type MP.
Generally we meet everyday at 1200 - 1300 hrs pst on weekdays, and many times we just fight an MP for fun. I'm sure other Club/Clans do the same too

Has anyone set up a place where people who aren't interested in clans can go to meet and find other players?  This would go a long way toward getting more people playing MP.  I can't do this myself because my Internet connection does not support voice chat.
