Hello gents,
I propose to play two PBEM battles simultaneously on the same map.
We both play French and Allies.
Map, Free choice no rivers please.
Ceh, 200
Battle time, 10 hours
Options. see image.
Special rules,
Maximum cannons 200 of which only 50 can be 12pdrs.
Maximum cavalry regiment size of 880 men.
This is to limit the dominance of artillery and large cavalry regiments while promoting more influence of infantry manoeuvres on the battlefield.
I hope somebody is willing to give this a try :smile:

This is an old map and my experience is that they sometimes have order problems, i will run a solo battle to hopefully see that all is well ;)
Edit, ran a solo battle all seems well with this map :D

Hello gents,
Quite a few order problems in these games for both of us :(
But the battles are excellent.
Both DJ's French and Allies have attacked at first light in the East, the question is will his attacks do enough to secure victory or will Waldi's counter attacks prove decisive ??
About 4 hours to go and all to play for :D

Thanks to Waldi for two battles that were interesting and exciting from start to finish. :D
The results may look like two comfortable wins for DJ but these were hard fought affairs.
Perhaps my early strategies caught Waldi a little by surprise, this can easily happen when you play somebody for the first time.
One battle ran very well, the other sadly had quite a lot of order problems for both of us :(
