Ratio : 1 vs 1
Mode : Mirror Battle
Map : Any map - with NO river on it please.
CeH : 200 vs 200
Special Rules :
1. Maximum 25% of artillery can be 12pdrs - if you have 400 guns, only 100 can be 12pdr.
2. Maximum strength per Cavalry Regt can be 880 men, no Regts with more than that please.
Options :

Excuse me Gunner but isnt 25% of 400 guns 100 guns? Sorry I dont mean to be picky but the maths isnt right in your post ;)

This is a great map and with the North East/South West deployment its even more interesting.
Excellent early manoeuvring in both battles, but who has gained the advantage if any ??

Only 11am but my French Army is in disarray and my Allied Army is not much better, looking like two wins for Dougie.

Two massive wins on the way for Dougie.....4.15pm and both of my Armies are all but destroyed, the Russian one is surrendering en mass......both battles saw me make very bad moves early and Dougie caught me in poor positions - on the move.

Hello gents,
Two very good battles for DJ.
Almost everything went to plan in both battles, a very rare occurrence. :shock:
DJ's Allies advanced in the North quickly and in force, first objective was to take the town, that achieved the allies were in position to advance South into the flank of either a defending or attacking French army.
As it was G24's French were advancing.
They faced massed Russian cannon to there front and three Corps including elite infantry and heavy cavalry advancing on there Northern flank, there fate was probably sealed here.
Dj's French advanced again in force but this time in the South.
They met a large Russian deployment including many elite infantry.
With the French northern flank seemingly secure and in no danger, the pride of the French army was committed to the attack in the south.
The middle and old guard advanced in force steadily pushing the Russians back, with things looking desperate the Russians committed there guard cavalry :shock:
Although some French line routed the Guard infantry stood firm, with the Russian guard cav now struggling against the infantry square the French committed there fresh guard cavalry.
Almost the whole Russian force South was routed from the field or taken prisoner, but reinforcements from the center secured the LOP's as night fell.
Bad luck G24, your chance for revenge will be coming soon ;)
