Anyone want to try farting around with this ol' program to see if we can use it for an 1809 campaign?

Harry, is this game like Empires in Arms, i mean the game let you to enable third party combat system and use histwar for battles ? i always complained from EiA being a very long lasting game, i wonder if there are any games except it?

Yair, that's it.  I don't trust the system to not crash half-way through a PBEM so I wouldn't totally recommend buying it if you don't have it already, unless you got some spare cash..

It's just the 1805 and 1809 campaigns along the Danube corridor.  It's on Matrix games.  Once battle is joined you can either ask the game to resolve it or export the OoB and fight the battle yourself then, apparently, feed back in the data to continue the campaign.

Why do not try with me , my Ratisbona campaign?
It is a source of many different battles.
I already playing a PBEM with Taff ,but we can start another campaign(1x1).
We have also to define rules.
If you are insterested read 'some idea for small campain'  and tell me something.

Interesting.

@HarryInk:
About Campaign on the danube, how does it work with HWLG ?. I would consider playing it against AI, if the exporting of ooBs is straightforward. The price is relatively low - 15euros en Europe.

Can we export directly the ooBs from Campaigns or do we have to create manually the same ooB in the campaign editor of HWLG ?

No, you'd have to make your own.  CotD exports a list of forces present at brigade or division level (the latter, I think) in terms of strength points.

So, for 1809 if you took the OoB for the Ratisbon campaign game, you should be able to quickly delete corps not present at a battle and easily create what you need for a battle.  Crude but ok.

For 1805 you would have to put in the work to create Mack's army and possibly La Grande Armee.  Perhaps the Austerlitz french OoB is close enough to be edited?

I suppose I should actually test CotD PBEM fully before I drag anyone else into the vortex.  It's just that that is a bit boring.  I haven't been impressed by the AI in solo games.

Ah, I'd happily do the OoB work if you'd have a go at the PBEM campaign system!
