This only applies if you are a joiner NOT the host.
Yesterday I was kicked out with an "error1a", no complaints, these things happen. I tried to rejoin from the option on the Error Screen, it allowed me to rejoin but I had a square cursor and could not give order to Corp etc.. If this happens to you, try this:
I quit from the game, shut down HWLG completely, relaunched and rejoined the battle, this time with no problems and all my orders were still preserved.
P.S. The Host G24 paused the battle while I did this, so that I couldn't be attacked etc... whilst rejoining :p

Just a short news...
There are 3 causes to get an internal error with the 02d (RC3)
1) management of order. I thought I fix this bug.. but it seems it is always live
2) management of attack vs cannon. I modified a bit the code around this function, but something seems wrong. So, I am deleting this part for the official patch 02d
3) Official La Rothiere : there is a bug in the Russian OoB (in fact in the data base). This bug was in the previous version but it was hidden. It appears in the version 02d.. so I have to modify the russian OoB.. That said, EricJ builds scenarii for this battle: they are here : http://www.histwar.org/mods/file.php?id=66
