Titre: Changing the graphics in the Splash! screen.
Posté par: HarryInk le 17 mars 2010, 01:43:10 am
I have a collection of photos from reenactment events and would like to use a couple of replace the graphics in the splash screens - say the Guard Grenadiers advancing, for example.  I wonder if that image is separate from the rest of the screen and can be varied.  If so, where would I find that file?  (or is a whole-page design required?)

Looks like this is the file, you might have to "cut" the existing picture out and replace it with your own.

You could also create it from bottom up, using the tableCuir.dds in Graphics\Texture, it's the red leather background texture without anything on it. The font in which the text is written is "Monotype Corsiva" I think with some shadow and modified contours added. I use a german version of Photoshop, so I don't know the exact names of those options in english, but the location where you can find them should be the same in any language, so I attached a screenshot for you and marked the two options I'm talking about.

Using that file and font is how my overview for the PBEM AAR (http://www.histwar.org/forum/index.php/topic,4509.0.html) I'm writing was done.

Have fun :)
