Too dark

I'm sure this has been discussed, but can't find any definitive answer.

The 3D battlefield view is much too dark.  What can be done about that, if anything?

Difficult to answer... maybe the meteorology and the hour ?
The light varies with the conditions and maybe that it is right for a good meteo and a good time.
Otherwise, I have to add a new parameter for adjusting the light in a future version.

I had that problem too, but it has been solved with later patches. Maybe you don't use the latest patch.
Otherwise, you can use a small utility called Gamma Panel.
It helps you make the views lighter.
