Zoom on 2D map

if we could zoom on the 2D map everything would be so much easy.

I never use 3D, but it will be great that when you zoom into the 2D map very close the 2D will change into the 3D on the point you are zooming.

This will give  the game interface a major improvement.
Opinions?

I agree with fullin : zooming on 2D MAP would be a great improvement for the game as we can already zoom on the symbolic view ...

An other point for the 2D map would be the improvement of the contrast ; the map is too mach fuzzy and not enough contrasted and it's often difficult to distinguish clearly the elements on the battle map - for instance between wood and lake an so one ...

I'd rather like have a2D map  looking like a good old wargame's paper map ...
