When using the HIERARCHICAL VIEW, can I just see all the units in a particular corps, regardless of quality or arm?

Yes you can.. just put the cursor on the second icon (arrow on the left) in order to delete the filter. All units are showed.

There are 2 filters you can use at the same time:
a) on the units status (arm, defence, and so on)
b) on the corps

on the left ? : for each set of icons, this icon allows to quit the menu to go at the superior level.

Hello again, no problem with doing things in managable parts.

May I make a suggestion, the icons at the top take up a lot of "important" screen space, could they go down the side instead ?.

I don't know if others use this or not, but I have never taken any notice of the text "reports", are they really needed ?.......Most of the time I have no idea which unit they refer to anyway.

Ops, I forgot, the time could be in larger type, in MP games the battle time remaining is most important !!!!!.

In 2D View, you can move the bar of icons; put the cursor on the left icon (Napoléon) before click left.
I can't place this bar on a side because some gamers have a display limited at 1024 * 768.
BTW... this new interface needs 1280 wide display at least.. I forgot to add a control on this parameter.

F8 view : reports from Corps or Reco? Do you send some reco to have informations on your opponent.
These informations are fuzzy but they can give you an idea about the army.

Thanks JMM.

About the text, I mean that text in the window right at the top, like the "chasing unit in trouble" one in my picture.

After a try, I agree with Gunner24 : the time and speed zone is too little to read correctly.
Congratulations for this improvment.

I have the same problem, with RC2 as well, seems impossible to move (march) using the green button.

Push it and stand back.  Or better, order someone else to push it and watch them through a telescope...

Just a suggestion.  :)

Merci JMM.

I practice the same, that is to say that I remain in version 2 with the G key
My comments on the new version.
Any change interface deserves some explanation. The player is lost in all these developments. I finally figured out how to give orders but groping. Information, we need information to shun new risks that we do not understand.
Should be applied visuals that popped up during passage of the mouse cursor over icons.
The information in the small square in the upper right is too restrictive to my personal taste (I have written to my personal taste).
The name of the commander of the regiment has disappeared and memberships (Brigade, Division, Corps).
If the regiment's name is too long, the little dot playing status despite the discomfort RC2.
Instead of all the small rectangles that evoke anything for me, we could not find the same information on version 2?
The idea of having put together the information panels of the interface is very good, it allows a better view of the battlefield (also available in the former by using the Tab key, but without "info")
Remove the central icons representing different Corps and units is welcome because I do not use it. This limited field of view for nothing.
Hierarchy panel is a good idea but in its current state, I am unable (but this can come from me) to understand the icons at first glance. The picture is visually not "speaking" in my humble opinion.
A good idea is the icon backup  that avoids the out of the game.
It remains to delete the autosave on exit or at least offer an option like "Do you want to save your game?"
This would avoid the large number of saves contained in the directory Save.
I do not like transparency, I find it very annoying.
If I choose to see the map, it's to view in full and with all the details.
A remedy is to put this option in the configuration of the game, so players would not wanting to change the appearance of each new game

That said, it's a nice development but that remains to refine.
JMM thank you.
