Operational Ratisbonne; experiences.

Has anyone had experience with the scenario of Ratisbonne?

I am interested in the operational scale, and would like to hear your views, especially if someone has played it PBEM, and if the "Grognard" settings are suitable and appropiate at this scale.

I played on this scale with HPS, but is too much micromanagement, and I think one of the strengths of histwar is its ability to avoid much of this micromanagement.
