Where are they Firing from

Will we be able to tell which enemy units are firing at our own units? And also how effective the fire is.

Yes,

You can know the strongest enemy unit and the distance between your unit and this unit. how effective   The damages are displayed for each unit too.

Soon the first Screenshots about the new GUI (HistWar).
LGAA uses the same system, but the pictures are different.
