AMAZINGLY BETTER !!

I just played a bit in Montebello, as French. I did not see any suicidal behavior of arty (apart from one russian horse arty unit that did not flee and was massacred by one of my Cav - but she had nearby inf, in square). But the arty deployments were in the whole all correct, retreats ocurred for the most part correctly and sensibly, and not once did I saw a arty unit deploy on top of the enemy or "charge".

And the best part: with this, the AI gave a MUCH BETTER fight (I was being wiped, really  )

It is, a fine improvement, my first 2v2 MP played out better than any game before, as far as artillery movement and deployment was concerned - and everything else.

Time for all the "doubters" to open their wallets and get HWLG onto their pc's.

You did it JMM!!!!!!!!!!!! I was part of Gunners MP battle below and the Artillery problem seems to be fixed. No suicide attacks, Arty deployed well.  This has changed the whole feel of HLG.  I think you are finally reaching the end of a long road and you will have more time to concentrate on the evolution of HLG rather than putting out fires
