Bonsoir,

7 Screenshots to show the GUI of the editor...

Around 20 countries: France + Russia + Austria + Hesse + Wurtemberg + Sweden + ...
Around 850 units with the mean historical strength...(with condtional date.. ie 124 Regiment de Ligne was created on 1811, and it isn't showed on the ScreenShot #6)
More 1000 Chiefs : Marrshall, General de Division, de Brigade, des colonels...

PassWord to protect the datas for each side.

More 100 units, 11 Corps/Colonne;
Hour of Reinforcement...
...















In the full version, a 3D soldier will be displayed.. and it will be possible to modify the color of some parts...

Very organized, clean &  polished... the research and historicity is phenomenal to behold..  it should be a great experience creating entire Armees on these simple despatch papers... I am feeling truly humbled in the presence of this great acheivement.. Bravo!!!.. Vive le Empereur!!!!

It's truly the best Oob editor I've ever seen.  :D

However since I can't read French I have a question:
How is the armies placed and deployed on the map?

Bonjour Lars,

The map is shared in 3 zones... (2 sides + nomans lans)
In your space, you can placed your trrops like you want.

HistWar tries to be accuracy.. but I think the gamer have to define his tactical plan and he puts his troop to do that.

In the Map editor, it's possible to choose the zones for each side.
