Yesterday I decided to buy a Portuguese translation (the translator is a retired Portuguese army officer who has recently written some good books on this period of military history) because I could not find a complete edition in either French or English. The Portuguese one has 500 pages, being translation from the French 1855 edition (the last one, by Tanera, Paris).
The well known English translation by Mendell and Craighill is said to miss some material. Regarding the modern French editions, they seem to be mostly abridged.
Does anyone of you know about a complete French edition of Jomini's work? I'd like to have the original text as well.
