New laptop

I am getting a Laptop tomorrow(courtesy of "She who must be obeyed"), so I can take HLG on the road with me. Questions, after installing the main program do I have to install both patches or does Patch01b cover everything?  
Next question, with the money I have available, the best Graphics Card I can afford is an ATI Mobility Radeon 4200, 256mg dedicated 1900mg shared memory, DirectX10 Shader4, so my question is, has anyone had problems with this card in relationship to HLG (bearing in mind you can't add cards in Laptops)?
Forgot to say AMD Athlon Dual Core @ 2.0ghz each and 4gigs RAM

Got it and it is superb, HLG runs like a dream.

Actually Thilio, not so good now. I have gliding units, first file I load is OK but the next ones glide. With the specs I have this shouldn't be happening. Also have a cropped screen showing red leather at the sides in F2.

Cropped screen is OK, it's because of the ratio or something like that. Thanks to the herculian efforts of JMM getting me a download link that works, I have now reinstalled HLG and it works, NO GLIDING
