Campaign Scenario
« le: 13 mars 2010, 19:18:47 pm »
Gentlemen:

I'm pleased to announce the creation(cremation if its unplayable :))of
a Campaign Scenario:           Bavaria

Inspired by Ras Scenario Teugn-Housen  ,J H Gill chapter 'Bravoure Baviere' and
Campaign Eckmuhl  the PC Game where I borrowed a section of the map  and made the 'carte.bmp'
to roughly trace the outlines....contours and elevations are 'guess work'
....(cringe) there are REINFORCEMENTS in this scenario ...you can roast me if they don't work. :) :p

Best played between 2 players PBM or such.

...No criticisms to Campaign Scenario ??  Please don't be shy post them...I can take it :)

I'm working on a rewrite of the OOB   starting with the 17th of April through to the 22nd.
Is it Historical ?  I don't think so except for the units  I think it will be a fictional work.
I'll have both elements of both  armies come in on different days, so remember to keep reserves around your LOC
to play the Campaign to the end....I could use some good advice  ;) :)

The map has its limitations as far as placements : a very narrow line along W and E sides. We know that Davout was
heading South from Regensberg so his placement NW near the Danube is purely fictional.
Lannes Prov Corps is way too large and unruly (see Austerlitz  Soult's Corps) If the game allows I should like to break
up this Corps in  two distinct parts.....I could use some good advice  ;) :)

I'm also working and I'll post soon after I test another small  50 CEH battle  : Arnhofen-Offenstetten
I just finished the map and the OoB's . This is to test if reinforcements are working in the game after the last patch
(thanks JMM!)
