Spec10 I think they look great. A great harmony of colours and tones.
I want to ask where I learn to modify the colours like that. Any 'modding 101' guides anywhere you know?
Basically it all comes down to learning how to use software like Photoshop or the free alternative GIMP. The three most important skills in modifying game content are:
- Find the files that contain the things you want to modify, in this case Those are the files included in the download of my mod
- Find out how to open and save them, in this case you'll need a plugin that will let you open and save .dds files,
like this one for Photoshop- How to use Photoshop, GIMP, etc. to manipulate graphic files, like changing color, changing backgrounds, changing ... everything
That's the one skill that may need the most training. You can find thousands of good tutorials on the internet on how to achieve a certain goal in Photoshop and the like.
