Change depressing 2D view music

Actually not a mod but just a little change.
I think 2D view music is fine but depressing   and I feel sad while giving orders.
So in game directory: Histwar/sounds/ambiance/   I removed the file fond.wav (put it in a safe place).
Then I copied the file 01A.wav (I like it) from: Histwar/sounds/musik/ to Histwar/sounds/ambiance/ and renamed as fond.wav
Everything seems working fine. Now I really enjoy the game

Something that could be interesting (for a future next next version), could be to have several .wav files that could be selected randomly each time you go to F2 display.

Yep, the luxury version will be a music playlist option. *cheeky smile*   Oh, and with a 'shuffle option' and display of the title/composer. ;P

I deleted (but saved a copy) of fond.wav, you find it in Histwar/sounds/ambiance. I converted the final movement of the "1812" overture to a .wav file, renamed it fond.wav, and put it into the above file. Now I have the perfect background music in 2D mode.

You don't have to be genius to convert files.  If you have an mp3, mp4 or wma music file,  google "online free mp3 to wav converter", you will get loads of sites, you don't even have to download a program.  The online ones are easy, just upload your music file and it converts it to the wav, then download it back to your computer.
