i have recieved instructions and have downloaded game the keyfile is not in a attachment only the instructions how do i get the password into the game jmm sent me instruction You have to place the file "xxxxKey.hw" into the folder where you installed HistWar...
ie : if you choose D:/game, installer puts into the folder D:/game
So, you have to transfer the key to this folder... VERY SIMPLE isn't it!

well the key is not in a attachment it is just the instructions . the key is there but not in the attachment i have tried all day and am getting very frustrated i am off on nights in 2 hours i have spent all day on this and am not a happy bunny. everything is ready but i cannot play

Here is what worked for me:

1. open the editor
2. copy the key into the editor
3. click 'save as'
4. name the file idKey.hw
5. under filetype change txt-file to all file types, otherwise the file will still be a txt file (I am not sure whether this is necessary though).
6. save the file and put it in the installation directory.

Frankly speaking I think this procedure should be changed. It may be too complicated for some users and the installation instructions are not clear about this procedure at all because it only says something like 'put the key file in the installation directory'.
