Chapter 3 - 3.1.1.2   2D VIEW, says that contour heights ca be continuously viewed in an inset box in the bottom half of the screen.  I don't see this box, is it only available in the full game.

Damn Demo1, I just spent 2 hours studying terrain and rearranging my Corps.  I gave them all their orders, hit "W" and the whole bloody lot of em stood stiffly to attention and refused to move.  Corps window said they're Marching, pressed and repressed "W" and nothing, they all just stood there smirking at me.

As they say in the Old Country "Bugger this for a game of soldiers", I'm waiting for Demo2 and the full game.

Demo 2 has the elevation counter on the 2d view.

Concerning the refusal of your troops to move, were you using full fog of war, including order delays? If so you have to wait a bit after pressing w before they actually get going even though the order status says moving... (make sure also that the timer display is moving;  initially I sometimes got confused that all the animations were going but the timer was paused: so the troops wont move then) Also they may be in the phase of the order where they are concentrating into a formation prior to moving off. If, after waiting patiently they all still refuse to move you could try sending out some aide de camps from the CinC, or moving the CinC to the stationary corps and reissuing the order which will not then be delayed...

Demo II would make you feel much happier about LG.
Has anyone seen my leg?

The contour elevation is shown in the 2D view in the box at the top of the screen, and in the 3D view at the top of the minimap.  Wasn't in the first demo.

I know what you mean, I had that happen to me once.  Very frustrating.  Bad enough when it's one corps, but infuriating when it's everyone.

I believe JMM has fixed that one.
