PS : a short info... For the first time, the new version will not be compatible with the precedents.
The modifications in the AI can't support the mix with the old versions.
So, it will be not possible to resume a game

Hello JMM. My friend (Devin) says he installs the game, enter the serial, game is working but then when he loads the game again after closing it, it doesnt work! Game is only working after the initial installs and no other times. What can be the reason?
(He uninstalls the game then installs, game is working for once then second time of game load it doesnt work?)
* I think we dont have separate links for the initial game and the patch Patch05f4 anymore but only one link as Histwar X which is 05f4 already?
Hi,
True, present version is 05f4.
It seems there is an new issue avec installing the game in the folder C://Program.
I think W10 manages the game datas and, for some configurations, HW can't recover the important datas.
If possible, Devin can try to install the game into another folder, like ?://HistWarGames... (where ? can be C: or another disk)

Anyway, I believe you sent me a link to re-download HistWar Les Grognards. But I was hoping to re-install the latest version of Histwar: Napoleon, since it has now been fixed to play on Windows 10.

Please provide the links to the latest versions of HW:LGnD and HW:N. I purchased HW:LGnd in 2010 and HW:N in 2019 if that is important. Current versions are 2.no for HW:LGnD and 5.564 for HW:N

No response in 3 months. Haven't been able to play the game in several years due to some issue with direct X and Sound. Should I just give up on this game? Feels sad as I supported it by buying both the LG and the N versions.
