This new patch 03n is for all previous versions of HistWar : Les Grognards.

Bonjour,

Patch 03n will not launch on doubleclick of the bearskin shako icon inside the Histwar folder; also, what is the validation SN?

Decided to drop in after a looooong break & find a new patch.
Size & hashes do not match those of the d/l page (268.10mb not 426.76mb)  but patch installed OK & game launches for me.

Problem with the size.. the real one is 268 MB.

Hello,

I have downloaded the patch 03n for HW Les Grognards
at the start of the process the download engine asks to download :
Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013

and gives me 3 choices

I currently have Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 a laptop with Vista system built in (cannot upgrade) so I continued the install.
I am not sure what this patch was suppose to fix but I passed all the HW Les Grognard patch analysis . I'm thinking my version is working.

The game (CD version) was reinstalled and patched with all the patches that
you designed for this version of the game (downloaded from Le Battallion Carre'/ Bussy 's HW Wargaming club).

I started the editors one by one and the main program and all seems in order

so what is  Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 ?
and where is a link to a version for Vista based system ? if there is such a thing 

and do I need it to replace my Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 currently running on my computer ?

Hi,

The new version of HW:N uses the VC2013 distribution.
During the installation, the message is only displayed if the VC2013 pack is missing.
So you have to install this distribution which is added on your system...
