Zee, thanks I look the look. The only thing I have noticed (only a quick look so far) is that rivers seem almost white, but I like the highlighted details. Thanks.

edit. As you pointed out (and I should have read!) water is fine when gamma is turned off. Having had a longer look, I am really impressed with what you have done. Thanks again.

you're a genius! The soldiers look much more 3 D. Very good work - a must have mod. Can you upload it to the depot please?

ok. It looks already great with the new ingame gama that was released in the last patch.
I will try to deactivate it again and brighten it up with the nvidea control.

does it change some bushes/trees too?
I only play in 1/2 unit size and I noticed some trees that are not scaled down like most of them - but maybe this is just by accident that I notice it now and it was there before.

Indeed, it has been mentioned before : the 1/2 and 1/1 scale don't adapt the size of the evironment.

This has nothing to do with this mod.

90% of the trees are smaller than 1/10 size in 1/2 size. But I noticed very few types of bushes which still have the bigger 1/10 size.

DominiqueT, is correct this Mod (ez3DUnits) does nothing to your  terrain files. It only updates the graphic files of Units (Infantry, Cavalry, Artillery). Most were updated, some like the Russian Units have not gotten a update, they are still the old MadRussian type.  As far as gamma goes just do what’s best for you.

Now I do have a new terrain Mod that is better than the old MadRussian Terrain Mod, but only a few people have.  I will see about uploading at a later time.

.

Zee - any chance of some screenshots of your terrain mod?

If I could work out how to post screenshots I would, but all I can say is that there is a noticeable difference between MR's and Zee's units mods. I'm not saying one is better than the other - it comes down to personal taste - but Zee's units have a greater contrast which I think brings out details more. Both are great additions and offer alternatives depending upon indvidual preference.

I do not like the lack of control over the files once you Upload. If the Depot were set up that when I log in I could see the files I have uploaded, have the ability to change them, update them, delete or what ever with out asking someone who controls the forum then Yes.

The problem is the control on the Depot isn't really easy because it's difficult to just give the control on the part of the server.
I took a look at the tool several months ago; maybe I didn't find the method. I'll be back on that.

Lastly, I would give them to JMM, but I am not sure he would take, plus I have gone rebel and changed a lot of stuff in the  ( FichIndexUnite.txt ,  FichTextMesh.txt ) files.

I modified the game in order to give more control for the Modders. I can continue on this way... no problem!
Just ask me.. and if I can,  I do  ;)
That said, the files FichIndexUnite.txt  and  FichTextMesh.txt are copied in a folder \Langage\OoB\Modds to have a good compatibility with the mods Waterloo and Peninsula War.

Zee i want ask you, can you delete plumes on russian infantry and jagers shakos?

Hello zee i found some mistakes in your new mod.

1) Middle guard units have white plume on shako, but in reality he was red.

2) You create skin only for fusilier-grenadier unit.

I change color of plume and create skin for fusilier-chasser regiment.

How i can add this in game?

Bonjour Jacquinot,

Est-ce que Les fichiers FichIndexUnite et FichTextMesh que vous joignez sont ceux d'Ezjax/Madrussian/Zee (ez3Dunits ) modifiés pour utiliser vos graphiques ?

Are files FichIndexUnite and FichTextMesh that you join are those of Ezjax / Madrussian / Zee (ez3Dunits) modified to use your graphics?
