If you need a more powerful pc for 1/2 scale, then unfortunately it must be worse for the 1/1 !
Isn't it ?

Maybe, but 1/1 looks worse than 1/2.

You can always go back to 1/10. And remember, 1/2 and 1/10 are still unofficial, JMM is surely going to improve them, with our help.

All is fine for me in 1:2 but in 1:1 I get a lot of mouse Lag. 1:2 is great anyhow

I checked at 1-1 and 1-2.
In 1-1 scale the camera movement is a little slow using the keyboard, but fine using the mouse.
The odd thing is 1-2 scale "looks" better than 1-1
I expected 1-1 to be better than 1-2.

for me 1/2 is also best choice. GREAT improvement to the 1/10 view already now. No stutters, no crashs to desktop. I keep it.

I agree entirely. 1:2 does look better though I don't know why! Well done JMM, another big step forward.

For me 1/1 looks excellent !
JMM has done a wonderful job.
The only problem is that in 1/1, the trees look too great compared to the troops. But apart from that, it's great and even the uniforms look superb with the improvements of the last version.

I'm just playing Borodino against russian AI and am enjoying your map and OOB very much. The AI is a little too agressive and gives me a lot of trouble, but how do you simulate a defensive behaviour of russian AI?
How do you start when you want to simulate Borodino (i.e. start with both AI, start with comanding both ?)

If you want to simulate historical orders - 1) Play in "command both sides" regime.
2) Detach all units before start and play in manual mode.

I think 1/2 scale looks better at the moment because 1/1 scale makes to soldiers look smaller, i remember reading a post about not wanting to look up soldiers nostrils or something like that, so you could increase the scale by moving the camera further away. 1/1 scale looks fantastic but the models are so much smaller making the trees and the buildings look oversized. But i am sure this is something jmm is working on, and he has been kind enough to let us use the larger scales even though he wasn't ready to put it out as an official patch yet, hence the notice about keeping screenshots for yourselves and not public display. This must do with Divisions and Regiments etc occupying a certain amount of area on the battlefield. Once the scale etc is sorted so that everything looks in proportion it will be the napoleonic game to beat!
