Thank you !

A very, very quick test shows that my saved game that crashed with error 1A loads now perfectly

(PS: the text that appears in the install window erroneously still says "RC3")

JMM, is this series of patches already one-on-one fighting?

JMM, is this series of patches already one-on-one fighting?

If you mean 1:1 scale of units, not yet...
But if you mean a better management of up to 1 vs 3 units fighting, definitely. Now we have flankers !!  :D

Quick solo test of RC5:

Great job !
The behavior of the units seems to be significantly better, and the AI seems to benefit from it !

A couple of minor sugestions:
- although the new gamma is good, I must confess I was kind of used to the original, somber "mood". Anyway in the future of being able to adjust gamma manually in the setup ?
- F6 behavior of the camera is opposite of F3 - could this become again similar ?

Best regards and thanks JMM !

You can still have the former display if you choose "gamma correction" off.

I like the new contrast very much. It's a great improvement.

Great stuff.

Sorry to mention it again.

Cavalry still gliding in line formation. Appear ok in column.

Grass layer effect looks better but have only had a quick play around.

Many thanks for these improvements.

Thank you for this new patch.
I wanted to test the OoBs Editor in the new patch 3b RC5.
When I click on a battle (original or not), the screen goes white with a Windows error message.
I sent the Spyboard file to JMM  for analysis.

I also tried the new patch on the Battle of Heilsberg.
I like the contrast and  I did not notice any major bugs, except the cavalry units that are gliding sometimes and, as I reported for the previous patch, it seems to me that there are too many inactive cavalrymen on the phases of fighting.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With this patchmy OOB editor started to crash once I try to load an OOB. I have confirmed and with 3a it still works.

Not sure if point f is completely solved, I think I had another case of a CAV unit locked close to a defensive line...
SAV sent via Redmine.

Tested yesterday the RC5 in multi 1vs1 in conscript mode using tunngle; connection ok, no gameplay problems. I saw only two problems:

1 - the F9 layer with the new interface doesn't work or better the graphics (arrows, lines, texts) are in some mode transparent , you see for a instant the start point of elements but after is like they are hidden under the 2D map.

2 - the replay of battle doesn't start;  or better it plays the first minute and stopped; I were the host. I'm going to post the file on the tracker.

Only a minor graphical issue: when a battalion charge a unit and this one go in rout immediatly before the contact, the assaults pass beyond the enemy, these lasts at this point go in rout and at this point the assaulters go back for reform their line.

No sorry no problem with replay; I simple taken the wrong replay file, because we did a first false start of match

After see the replay I found these anomalies:

1 horse battery is destroyed (disappeared from the map leaving two deaths) without apparent fight with the enemy; it was near a enemy regiment so i think can be a desync between game and graphical engine.

the army commander move in the middle of enemy troops; I played in conscript mode but I thinks the flight from dangers is the same also at this level

Hi mitra. You should send your sav file to JMM. (best way is through Redmine)
