Bonjour JMM,
I hope you are back from your well deserved rest and are fit for new questions about the game.  :D

Will there be voice commands in the game and if so will they be in their respective languages?

Will you be able to hear bugle calls whenever cavalry is charging and drums for infantry?

Yes.. you are! For french sound, there isn't problem! I hope I can find a lot of foreign musics for russians and austrians

About infantry.. I have to record a french group of drummers 'Les Tambours du Sacre'. These drummers know all music of french napoleonic army!

It's not easy to stop working when you have such a fun and interesting job, right?. I bet your wife is not so happy about it though.

Yes, thank you. I especially enjoyed the Musee de L'Armee.
I later found a site on the web for anyone interested: http://www.fusiliers.com/museedelarmee.html

Does it means that the French voice commands are in there already?

Hello,

My wife has VERY patient...

There are 4 kinds of sound for HistWar...
a) music (Austerlitz, La marche des eclopés...)
b) surrounding (wind, thunder,animals...)
c) voices, (Formez le Carré, En Colonne de Division...) and drummer/bugle
d) battle sounds (fighting, horses, melee,...)

About 'LGAA'; it's more complicate because the sounds belong to Matrix Games.. so I don't want to add my sounds to this Release 2.00.

JMM

Maybe, I'll try to UpLoad a music of 'Tambour du Sacre' in the next days.

Glad to hear that!  :D
However you didn't  mentioned my favourite " La victoire est à nous". I sincerely hope that that one will find it's way into LGDN as well.

By the way "Bonjour" you say. Don't you say "Bonsoir" in the evening in French?

Bonsoir Link,

Yes, it is 'bonjour' for good day.. 'bonsoir' for good evening.. and 'bientoit' for good night.. but, if I'm wrong, someone will straighten it out... maybe Bernard..., the 'voice' of battle... hahahahahahahaha

About the musics.. I don't remember the figure and the names of different musics you will find on the Les Grognards...
La Victoire est à nous seems a good music for us too

Hi all,
If you seek some good french military Napoleonic music here's a site worth to take a closer look at:  http://perso.club-internet.fr/gustave/Musiques/Musiques_1.htm
It's probably already known to most of you though.

Bonsoir JMM,

Thanks for that tip. I've actually missed those French links. I thought it would just be the same as the English links but in French so I didn't bother to look there.

The fourth link there turned out to be the homepage of the link I posted.
