Titre: FOW and CiC
Posté par: Alfiere le 21 juillet 2010, 17:51:24 pm
I am trying some test to understand how work FOW.
I am noticed the system with and without question mark on icon.
With-> was seen with information of time of last sighting.
With -> also because non identifies which unit is.(little doubt)?
Without ->seen in real time.
Very good and very clear.
This sytem seems not be used with CiC.
In attach file screen of 2 CiC when they see.
Then moving 1 CiC the other vanish and do not remain icon with question mark.
Perhaps i have to undestand better with FOW before ask question.

Yes it is right. The CiC has not the little space on his window where there is  information of time of last sighting.

Then i give command to french to advance for have a idea of max_distance with meteorology for view.
We can tell of  a good distance of about 2800 mt in these conditions.
This is useful information for striker.
I do not know velocity of march to calculate how many time is necessary to cover this distance but if that is about 4-6 km at hour in about less of 1 hour there is danger.

The estimated time at usual walk velocity is indicated by the "T" just under the "D" with the arrow.
But it's difficult to see because of the unit icon.

Thank.
I have seen about 15 min for walk 1 km.
Therefore average velocity to consider is about 4 km for hour.(even a slight rise)
The enemy do no know this , for him to consider for danger should be about 4 km for hour.
This is useful information for defender.
