How is the histwar campaign or long battles like wagram or eylau which last more than 30 hours process like...
I mean:
- Do the battles stop at 22:00, forces retreat and then restart from 6:00 again?
- When do the campaigns end? When one side is defeated ? as there is no time limit...so no draw result for campaigns?
I play a pbem campaign with a friend, hour is 22:30... we still go on playing

...
My big mistake... During the tests, I have added a comment on 3 lignes of code for continuing the batthe during the night...
and I have forgot to delete these comments.. so the game continues...
This problem will be fixing for the patch 01c.

ok we wait for the patch then JMM, thnks.

Eh? I had the battle sometimes stop and then continue on the next day at 0600?
Or am I making up stuff up here? I think I got a screen when the battle paused, which showed some statistics.

With the patch 01B?

Yep; I think it stops at 22:00 or something and the statistics come up.
The timer says something like D1, and the game is paused. Have to press 'P' then to continue.

hummm...
I have to take a look at the code again.. maybe the comments are only for the PBEM?
That said, sorry for this bug, and I have some problems with the development at this point, so by now I can't build a patch...

Yes the battle stops at the begining of the night and resumes at 0600 in the morning. It's just that the next morning all my infantry got insane and left the field; pure and simple! This must be a bug.

Maybe they had a bad night's sleep?
-
They've got hangovers!!!!!!

Ops, that is bad news, I hope we can assume this is a temporary problem, and work will resume again soon.

Yes, you can... just a bad point to avoid... done... so I am continuing my normal work... (just several hours lost!)
Soon some news on the activity.

Excellent, we can never have too much news - unless it's about the uk General Election, then we can have far too much of it !.
-
Some info on the next patch would be good, yes...
I think I have read that some bugs were already solved, and that the much asked "faithfulness" to the OOB's of the scenario creators was already in (a big point to the solo players). Maybe what is delaying the patch is MP/PBEM ?
Then, why not launch a small patch with the improvements already made ??
I much prefer small incremental patches than to wait for a big patch (patches, anyway, are seldom definitive, anyway)...
But I can wait ! ;)

It is also my opinion.
Several small patches are better than a thick belated!

Guys, I understand that we all have our own needs and wants but with only one of the play options working correctly, I think the priority, not only from a selfish point of view (which I am), but also from a pure business point as well, Is to get HLG firing on all 3 cylinders.
Having said that JMM is the final arbiter.

Very okay, but we are there to indicate him the big longings of players. It permits him to clear priorities and to give him as some times of ideas to which he had not thought.
Bien d'accord, mais nous sommes là pour lui indiquer les grandes aspirations des joueurs. Cela lui permet de dégager des priorités et lui donner aussi quelques fois des idées auxquelles il n'avait pas pensé.

Glaude, I actually agree with you 100%, I was ponting out that ther'e's always someone who's going to be dissapointed when a patch is released and his particular "want" isn't there (hope it's not me Ha!!)
