if we uninstall game, download (HistWar-Release01-install) and install game again, shall we still need the patch/es or the download site always keep the latest versions with patches?

Okay i tested now. Download site doesnt have the updated game, we still need patch01b even if we download again.
Btw, the program didnt ask me the serial number when i finished downloading and launching the game... i still have to copy paste serial key to the histwar folder. :roll:

The read me says that there aren't any major gameplay improvements, yet it seems much improved after this patch- better all around in terms of how combat plays out.
the areas that are stated as improved are also nice- the new smoke effects and the sound.

I played it for a short time tonight and noticed two things - the sound is improved and for the first time I have heard the horses galloping into battle - very exciting. But. also for the first time, I played in windowed mode and each time I resized the window the sky and lighting changed. I saw grey, deep blue, cloudy, sunset - every kind of sky for each 1mm movement of the window. I am not sure if this is a bug or a brand new "choose your weather" feature.
My graphics card is Nvida 9600 GT and I have 4gb RAM.
