Titre: Saved games Why?
Posté par: AJ le 09 mars 2010, 02:22:14 am
Curious thing, I had to do a reinstall of the whole program, I deleted the entire Histwar folder Including saved games.  After the reinstall I noticed there were 15 saved battles dated 100131. Why are they there?

They are there since the beginning. I also wonder why.
I assume they are remains of the last beta-tests before the release... ;)

I don't want to delete them until someone tells me they're not important

Save games do not count for the game to run properly, if you want you can delete them, see if they are in Save\Bataille

I deleted all the games in the save folder without a problem. A lot of them look like the save files you get just by loading a solo game and then exiting ie they were tests of the maps etc...

I very often purge the repertory save because it becomes quickly illegible seen the number of file.
I think that an automatic demand letting the choice to either save or not at the end would be sufficient rather than an automatic back-up. Besides, it would be well to be able to bring in the name of the file.
