I asked to open a net for LG; better that hamachi, dedicated only to game, create net for 255 players at the same time, with lobby. Gratis naturally. Actually are present almost 500 net one for game.

Do you think I will be able to connect with more ease than with Hamachi?
Good question.....it does "look" better than Hamachi, with more features and looks to be more suited to gaming, with many more people allowed on the network, lets hope this makes MP a lot easier.

Net open. 255 people at the same time can play. The ip is assigned at the moment one man enter in the net lobby. More pratical of hamachi.

Is very easy: before register yourself,  after install the client you find over the site;  the client will isntall a virutal adapter like hamachi. After the installation make a restart.

After the restart, you can launch the client: the client is very simple with few menus; in the menu "community" you find the search functionality for the game net: be aware at difference of hamachi the net are not personel they are public not linked to user PC, they are created over the Tunngle server.

Search the net of game you want, double click over her for enter. After being enter you find yourself in the net lobby with other players, which can play with you with the same principle of hamachi.

I add:  is not obligatory enter in the specific game net for play that game: the game net are used for order reason but you can enter in every net and play the game you want.

You don't need to be register to net, you enter only for the time of game and after exit. They are more like lobbies.

Have you tried with LG yet, ir not is this because your waiting for the next patch ?......did it all work WITHOUT having to do port opening/forwarding ?.

If this is as good as it looks, and works without any "port" adjustments being needed (which many either don't understand or will not do) then you may have found the MP answer, I hope so.

To me work without adjustments; the important thing is that the port set is open over your firewall or you make a port forward in the client over one of your open ports (you have a button to test if the port is open) anyway if you enter in one of net then the port is open.

There has been a problem after joining the game and starting it, it's at that stage where you get thrown back to the game menu.

We know about that one too, and JMM's working on it.

No ETA, but I did spend some time with JMM getting connected in multiplayer and he understands the problem.  He's looking for robust solutions.

No I haven't tried, but anyway the bug is related to game not to connection. The game fall also when I play using a normal direct ip without hamachi.

I tested Tunngle also with Combat Mission shock Force and work weel

This is a different system to Tunngle, perhaps it might be best to have a new topic to chat about it there, can it be used MP ?.

It's "isolated operating environment in which applications can be run" I play with HWLG inside, It was for the safety test but in solo mode, not crash at startup!
Maybe this can help not having a crash with multi (if it's linked to crash back office)

Bad news for me, part way though the installation I got a serious sounding message from mircosoft that this could cause stability problems with windows XP and it was recommended to not be installed.

I don't like putting stuff on my pc that might cause problems later, and I'm sure a lot of other people will feel the same way, so, back to hamachi for me - after the patch.

Titre: Re : Tunngle

Gunner, that's a standard Microsoft message for any software they haven't personally tested, it doesn't mean Tunggle in particular.  Usually the developer tests it with windows systems but doesn't want to pay Microsoft for the privilege of them removing the warning, especially with free stuff.  It just means that XP doesn't recognise the program as safe so it warns you.  I downloaded and ran it on my XP and it's fine.

It was.  No problems with it.

AJ : I understand what you mean and I'm sure your right, but many people will not download stuff with a message like that, it's far to much trouble to re-build your pc IF there is a problem.

The same messages I received me, but this is normal, the software install a adapter which simulate a net connection, so being not certificate microsoft windows give the same error; is not different from the adapter hamachi install to your PC, only the digital firm.

On certain systems you can get the following error message on installation:
