Novi, 1805 ?
I present You this fictional scenario, its in the Histwar Depot, and will add it to the Guggs Depot as well.
Remember to check in the Guggs depot and keep in touch: these guys have done the hard work!!!!
This scenario as very little artillery. I used the MadRussian mod for the occasion.
(Great Stuff MadRussian !)
All the information regarding this Scenario can be seen at Napoleon Series Org.
The only thing I changed is that I did not place an Austrian Brigade in the Castle at Mte Rotondo.
This can be easily done if You wish to play. Remember to move French 2 LOC further to the right
and place Austrian bottom of the map and Cassano Spinola.
:p
Have at it ! CHEERS !

Thanks for this nice scenario.
Very funny to play at the division level ;)
But difficult for the french player: too few heavy cav compared to the coalised...

Merci zu Pferd, très beau travail ... ;)

Many heartfelt thanks Gentlemen !
I would like to see HistWar expand also to pre 1800 period.
I was recently in Italy and had a jolly good time stomping around some of
the ground covered by the armies in the 1st Italian Campaign. I'll try to collect
some pictures to post later. I know it is too soon to go into this direction
especially when such great mods have come out like the Peninsular and Belgian Mod !!!! :D :D
I also have another battle designed in the period and possibly a 30 km map as well from Alessandria
to Tortona. Some of the difficulty lies mostly with drawing correct elevations.
Then its the uniforms, the 1809 uniforms are I suppose a close compromise, the Italian/Cisalpine infantry/cavalry/artillery is not made
Suvarov's army as well as Command....needs to be made.
For the Command levels I tried to be fair for the Austrians Russians as well as the French so Napoleon is Very Good/Very Good as well as
Massena, Suvarov is Very Good/Very Good, all arms are at the 1809 levels.
In all fairness to Thilio's remark about the cavalry, I stayed close to the narrative of the campaign (Novi)
and in that period Austria had more horse although badly employed.
Thanks for the interest and your positive response.
