Titre: Human Corps Commander

I tryed mp now and i have to say that with fixed view you need to have the view of the cops commander.

We seriously need a mode with " View fixed to Corps/Army commanders" in MP.

Or did i miss something and it works allready ?

I know it's not clever, in fact it's a little childish to say.......but "I told you so".......fixed view to the CiC will be a tough, tough option to take in MP games.  Good luck with it.

Mind you, I may never have to worry, I'm nowhere near being able to understand how to get an MP game going, ha.

Can you explain why it's that important?

Is it just finding that person, or is it a desire for authenticity?

Either way, surely it's playable with or without such a view?

we tried to do a co op vs the ai he takes the commander in comand and i took lanes corps but instead of him being bound to napoleon and me being bound to lanes we where both bound to napoleon!

he wants it so you can toggle between corps commanders view that your commanding if you need to not between free look and locked view

I agree that the fixed view needs to allow you to view from a corps commander, especially if you're commanding a corps in multiplayer or playing AI vs AI and commanding one corps (which isn't implemented yet). 

Now that the game has been released, a lot of pressure is off and we can think about getting such things implemented.  It's all part of the ongoing support. :)

Yes I agree with You Hook, and poetic justice goes to Gunner.
I like playing CinC view and just ride to the 'HOT' spots...but the corps commander view is important for the MP games.
I second and support the motion   :)

Its ok to have a fixed view to the commander/s that you present in the game. No need to have a view from a command that you don`t play.

But Lannes will not stand beside Napoleon while his corps attacks ;)

Oh, that is extra difficult, and of course not as it would have been on the battlefield, it would seem the human CC must have a view from his position. 

What if he is Commanding several Corps, maybe a 2v2 battle with three Corps each, what then ?.

In deed. As soon as you have more than a 1vs1 it becomes a problem.
Or you need to play using only the 2D map. Which would suck, now that the 3D FoW finally works.

Not yet.. I have built an hierarchy for my task.
For certain  everyone has his list about this hierarchy, and maybe it's not the same.

First one was to fix the very annoying issues.
Second patch will be around the sound and graphics
Third one must fix other issues and improve some features (ie AI GT, Commander's view...)
