I have been waiting and waiting for a date of release {concret} i will not pre pay as i have come unstuck before doing this. i like what i am hearing about demo 2 and on release i will proberlly give in and buy just give us a date please

We hope so, JMM has obviously the final word; in my opinion the build we are testing now is looking really good (far far better than demo1 (that was not even similar to the beta version, sorry for that) and even better from demo2 thanks to the feedback made by grenadiers in the grenadiers' forum).
Some major bugs are solved and some other minors JMM is working on it right now; the team and most of all JMM (because every programming tasks belong to him so he deserve the Greater Glory for the Greater Burden is carrying) are working hard in hunting bugs but even in sharing thoughts about every aspect of the game :D.

I have learned to be patient. I have learned to wait. But, of course, now that the download finally approaches it is killing me. Arrgghhh!! I am chewing off fingers here!
Good to have the 'end of the week' download confirmed. Now I can securely send that email to my mates inviting them to come over and go head to head with a couple of computers. :D Oh goodie!

in the "near" future some would explain this as a "time-distortion" or a "time-dilation-field"...at the moment we just say...different time-zones.... :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Assume it will arrive at the very last possible moment, with a blaring of trumpets, and be happy if it turns up any earlier. That seems a sensible attitude. Either way, you'll be playing it for years.

Not sure, but I will let you know what 'package' us Grenadiers have got when it comes.
I'm expecting a few improvements on Demo2 from what I can gather from the forum, so maybe a Demo3??
I will be downloading and playing the full game tonight and over the next couple of days. I'm sure myself or someone else will be able to give a brief report.

As JMM said just now, its gonna be a few more hours whilst stuff is sorted out with the server. Nearly midnight here, so recon I should tuck in for the night (wish I hadn't just downed that last mug of coffee :shock:-oh well, out with the Zopiclone!)
I've read your posts and don't blame you for your 'try before you buy' view, especially when we're having to tighten our belts. For any other game I would have applied the same principles.
For me, this game is different though. I've followed its development for years and firmly believe it will fulfil my hopes and expectations.
I might not be the best person to advise you because I am already converted and I'm not one to preach.
Hopefully you will be able to make judgement from the latest Demo. I can tell you how it compares to the full game. Prepare for bias though. I have already experienced Austerlitz from the Santon and stormed the Pratzen Heights. And thats just the Demo.

Recieved but had the reg key problem tried all day to sort it but with forum down and only a rather short email reply from jmm{which i found tobe a bit sarcastic} i found the answer when the forum went back up. i will give the game a go today. heres hoping i have not wasted both money and time. :oops:
