Posté par: Alfiere le 09 avril 2011, 10:13:04 am
I am playing a PBEM.
Send a Cav to scout and take a LOP.
LOP taken, after that seems that CAV is bombed, but i do not see nothing.
Then exit from the map and LOP lost.
But if guns see my CAV why my Cav in scout do not see guns?

sav and pbme have the same organization. Just it's more easy to have a different extension for avoiding  mixing between files

My guess is your Scout has to get a dispatch to your Corp Commander telling him what he has seen.  This takes some time especially if he is all the way up to the enemy LOP

I agree with AJs explanation, I'm sure that is the reason, if your Cav is a long way away from the CC the message takes time to get back to him.

If the enemy have a unit near your Cav, who is near to his CC they "see" the situation a lot quicker than you will because your CC is a long way away and there's are closer.

Thank for reply.
Perhaps you are right, however, seems to me a bit curious.
The scouts are usually enough far from own CC.if the map is updated after own CC is informed we must wait too much time for to see the situation.
The scouts are detached units , them fight at once if command attack unit and why we must wait for to spot units?
