Gentlemen!!
A new Scenario in the HistWar Depot for Your Pleasure :p :p
Trebbia a Italian Campaign scenario to go with Tidone Creek.
Everything you need is in a RaR packet.
I noticed this:
when you download everything where it should go in HistWar
and start LDGN you might get an error ...simply enter Historical for weather and season
I got the game going this way...and another time by entering summer and hot and dry ....odd.
If you have any suggestions please follow the post
Best Regards
....the guy on a horse

Very nice scenario!
Interestingly, i had no problem for artillery deployment on the banks of the river.
It was not the case with scenario Wavre.
I wonder whether it is linked to the map or to an improvement in the game since last patches.

 I noticed that as well . Ask me how many times it took for me to get a map that
actually worked  Most of the time I was getting a display error or other.
As with the bridges and fords: did you notice artillery does not cross at the ford ?
All well it seems for this map . However the artillery is still too powerful even with
fewer numbers..all the shots hit the target and divisions get wiped out very quickly
marching them around too much and they won't respond to orders until rested....

My french artillery crossed at the ford without problem.
I don't find it too powerful but rather with a correct strength. Anyway, it's very difficult to cross under artillery fire that's why you have to make diversion and try to cross at a point with not too much enemy fire.
In my opinion, it is what makes this kind of scenario with a river interesting to play

Just a strange thing today playing the coalised.
This time i had some problems with river crossing:
- one cavalry unit was stopped in the middle of the ford. There was no unit on the opposite bank to explain this and it was impossible to move it even when giving individual orders.
- several infantry units with a deploy order took a very long time to find the path to cross the river.

Hi Thilio,
I noticed that on several tests as well. Have you played at fast speeds ? many things appear and disappear... (FOW)
River crossings pose an ambush threat to units crossing ... I have not seen skirmishers being ordered across (Trebbia)
I saw it happen in a test map for Arcole. (reconstruction over and over) were fired upon from the town and
retreated in a hail of bullets the main regiment blocked the bridge for awhile ....

Hi,
Speed was varying. It was my own troops with no FOW for my units.
Another strange thing was when i had to close the scenario several times and to resume. Sometimes several units were blocked and walk again only after closing and restarting the game...
