The battles available in LG are: Haslach, Austerlitz, Eylau, Friedland, Campaign of Eckmul, Wagram, Moscowa (Borodino), Berezina, Hanau and La Rothière.
What other battles do you want to see in an expansion?
Why choice will be: Waterloo (of course), Jena, Auerstaedt, Leipzig.
-
Without any doubt: Marengo!, the battle that made Napoleon the Emperor.
-
The campains of Italy and Egypt, Waterloo, Ligny, Essling, Maïda, Albuera, Arapiles, Bailen, La Corogne... Euh... All.
-
Waterloo, Vitoria, Marengo, Leipzig.
-
Marengo can be done thanks to the editors so i believe Marengo will be one of the frirst scenario that should be found on the ---------.com repository; for Waterloo, and especially Egyptian and Syrian campaign i believe modders would try to make some Ottomans units (i hope so) :D
-
Waterloo,Austerlitz,Wagram
-
The battles of the 1813 campaign : Lutzen, Bautzen, Grossbeeren, Dresden, Katzbach, Hagelberg, Kulm , Löwenberg, Dennewitz, Wartenburg , Liebertwolkwitz, Wachau, Leipzig...
And of course Aspern - Essling !
-
Waterloo and others... ;)
-
Leipzig!
-
Leipzig!
this can be done with the editor of Hwlg, Russians, Saxons, Austrians, Swedish and more are present ;)

This can be done but it needs to replace Prussians by units of an other nation.
-
Campain of the 100 Days,Leipzig,Vittoria
-
Yes i would like the rest........I think that would be good actually
But Im interested in the Campaign System that should come as well
-
I expect that within a month or two, scenario groups will have produced 'campaign packs'. So, I hope to fight Napoleon's 1796 battles in a series. Or the 1814 battles. Having just been to Waterloo & Ligny, I'm keen to see how well LG can model the ground there. Currently I'm thinking that Wagram will be a hoot. If you're not as active as Napoleon, you might find yourself giving Charles a big victory!
-
Battle of Marengo, Pyramids, Aboukir, Lodi, Arcole, Dresde...
-
Swedish campaign against Norway!
-
Rivoli , Marengo, and what about Hohenlinden
-
I will expect : Jena, Leipzig, Waterloo, Albuera, Fuentes de onoro, Vitoria and a mini campaign about battles around Montmirail-Champaubert in 1814.
-
Saltanovka,Smolensk,Vyazma,Krasnoi
-
auerstad, Leipzig and waterloo
I would also like the bases for Peninsula french, british, spanish and pourtiguse, we don't realy need any finished battles.
But if we get general OOBs for the peninusla war we can make all the big battles our self.
Talavera, Salamanca, Victoria ect.
-
Rivoli , Marengo, and what about Hohenlinden
Yes, Marengo would be a great battle to have in LG.
-
Battles of the 1814 French campaign would be great!
-
I agree 1814 will be fantastic.... ;)

-

I'd like to see some of the earlier battles from the revolutionary period e.g. Valmy, Jemappes, Fleurus, Arcola, Castiglione, Casteggio-Montebello and, of course, Marengo and Rivoli which have already been mentioned.
I've been perusing the manuals this evening, and if this game lives up to its promise it'll be nothing short of a revolution in Napoleonic wargaming on the computer. When I first obtained Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord, I thought "Imagime if Napoleonics coudl get a similar treatment..." (I even went so far as to create CM maps of Napoleonic battlefields - just because I could). Well, here it is , it seems. I look forward to taking the demo for a vigorous test drive.

You are perfectly right dear Holdit, i felt the same thing with CMBO..... ;)

yes,but I think HWLG is far more complex far larger far grandious than what could have been the Napoleonic CMission. It is indeed as you said "a revoultion"

Hi I've just read the two manuals and I feel that if the AI and the editor is up to the standard, you had done a system useful for any musket era battle, a là Nosworthy. So I'm dreaming about something spanned from Blenheim to Gettysburg. BTW with a war of Independence, and American Civil War module you coul have a strong beachead in the American market.

Yes I hope it because it's also fine to "study" and play battle that are all in the "uncertain" period of Napoleon. His Armèè in this time was quite different from the first time......
