Just purchased game and am not sure if I need to install any of the patches.

How do I know which ones to install?

If you Histwar Napoleon go to the patch for that game http://www.histwar.org/mods/category.php?id=4
Depending on the version you have now, see bottom right hand side on the main menu, and download accordingly
