Hello,
            How can I eliminate the red blocking area in the Map program
  so I can draw a river  along a path I choose. ?
Maybe this has been answered already....I can't find the thread   Thanks :mrgreen:

There is a special version for avoiding this red surface where you may not draw a river  ;)
The present Great Tactical  AI doesn't work fine with this kind of maps...
Again wait for a new version of AI able to correctly manage an army with an river on the middle of the map.

PS : I can send a code to disable this red surface but I would like that you keep the possible maps built with this version.

Thanks JMM, don't worry I don't use much the map editor it was only my curiosity about what is it this red zone

Yes in the lim-const file. As JMM pointed out the new version will improve the AI reaction/calculation of a river drawn say
in the middle of the map  ( :p :p :p :p)  which is good news to those who religiously draw their maps with blasted rivers
on them ( :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:  me?)
