In reality Davout want to take 1st and 5th corps, but maybe Napoleon should give to davout Grouchy's corps and some divisions of 1st corps, it would be a small diversion group which can destroy Tuchkov's corps and crush Bagration's army at left flank.

Maybe small group was unnoticeable in night???
