Avoid attack....

I see in patch 2c we now have an "avoid attack" description, which is excellent, I wonder, should ALL Regiments on reconnaissance missions have this order, so they always avoid combat if attacked ?.

"Avoid Attack" isn't an order, it's a status.  It's the kind of thing that might be useful in the doctrine, however.  But you can pretty much manually control what your scouting cavalry does, just don't send it deep into enemy territory, it's got plenty of range on the sighting distance, and bring them back when they've done their job.  If I'm sending someone deep, I intend that he attack targets of opportunity... like enemy artillery.
