LG fails to start because d3dx9_42.dll was not found...

is the message I get when I added the v.2 patches.

I reinstalled the application   This meant I had to uninstall LG first, then reinstall it.  The I applied the v.1b, v.2a and v.2b patches. 

Then I got the same message.

Any ideas?   Shall I try reinstalling again?

Harry, easy one to fix a lot of us had it. DirectX9 needs an update, it doesn't matter that you have 11 etc... 9 still needs updating. I'm looking for the link now
