How was made the Berezina map?
« le: 11 février 2010, 23:26:14 pm »
Just curious...
I noticed that it's not possible to draw a river through the center of the map. I guess this is necessary for the AI to work.
How was made the Berezina map? Is there a hidden option to disable the limitation of river drawing?

It's true!!! And there are a big number of marshes; in a custom map there is a limit: "too many objects of this kind". How can we "by-pass" this limit?

...and even more important: Why is the AI able to deal with the Berezina map, but hangs when dealing with other maps that have too many objects?

I would very much like to see this restriction lifted - if at all possible, it will make map making not as good as it could be, if maps can only ever have the same number of limited features on them they will start to look the too much the same.

Without knowing the reason they exist, I doubt it could be impossible to lift that restriction.
However, if it is impossible to lift this restriction, a scale for each kind of object, letting us to know how many are yet available will helper.
