Deployment zones

Greetings all

  At the moment it appears that the directions that one can deploy a particular side from are limited (at least in my instal) ...An example being the Grand Armee is limited to West and South while the Coalition is limited to North and East. Is this correct or am I missing an option some where. I really need to switch these around for some of the scenarios I have planed......Thanks

Hi Uhlanen,

it does work but it's a bit tricky. You have 8 directions.
Say you have French in South and Austrians North and you want to switch them.
Follow this sequence: French-West, Austrian-East, French NorthWest, Austrians-SouthEast, French-North, Austrians-South
It's easy once you know how.

C'est possible de changer (lire: forcer) la ligne qui délimite les zones, en la portant par example un peu plus en avant ou en peu plus en arrière? Dans certaines batailles on pourrait avoir les deux cotés  très proches au debout ; dans autres batailles les enemies très éloignés. Je suis en train de terminer le scénario pour Marengo, et je demande si ca est possible pour améliorer les positionements initiales  Merci

Is it possible to change (actually: to force) the deployment zone line, for instance putting it a bit forwards or a bit backwards? In some battles we can so have the enemies very closed at the beginning, in others cases placed very far one from the other. I'm finishing Marengo scenario, and I pose this question to improve the initial deployment of the troops  Thanks
