a help with deploy my custom army in custom map

Dear all,i am aenjoying to create new maps and armies as many of you,i came here for a question,and i hope that someone can be able to give me a help.
after i created my map and i created the composition of two armies,for example one french and one russian,i start the game,with my map and with my armies,but when the game starts i sadly realize that i am not able to deploy my units as i wish,so i tried to run my custom map but with the austerlitz setting,and i can deploy the men before battle,do you know what might be wrong?

can you tell me the size of the map and CEH of your armies?   thanks
I run into the same problem:  when I positioned both armies and tried to play Grognard level
I noticed as well as others that one army was stationary for hours.
Its best to deploy the army you choose to command before you start to play, and let the AI do what it wants to
do with the opposite side: it has a plan of its own regardless of the historical events.

Playing against a human opponent would be of course different in many respects: have you tried a game
against a human opponent?

There does seem to be some deployment issues, I find sometimes they go straight back to where you moved them from.....I think it's being fixed in the patch.  Massive CEH armies on small maps will make this issue worse, small OOBs on large maps should make it better.

Thanks for the 'Heads up' Gunner,
I believe Marshal Ney is also in  the Italian Forum.
I noticed that when drawing a map the placement of troops, the area between them is too wide
representation in3d is 'conservative'  men versus space they occupy ,others on the Forum have mentioned this as well.
